The Meduza Factory takes inspiration from the legendary Fuzz Factory, but with one essential difference: it features carefully selected NOS AC128 transistors instead of the standard AC125s. This gives the pedal a warmer, more musical and more dynamic character, while preserving the extreme flexibility and wide tonal range that made the original so iconic.
In true Fuzz Factory fashion, the Meduza Factory can enter self-oscillation mode, but thanks to the NOS AC128 transistors, the oscillation is smoother, more musical and easier to control.
In this mode, the pedal produces continuous sound waves that shift in frequency and tone depending on how the controls are set, turning self-oscillation into a creative instrument of its own.
Every Great Felix Effects pedal is handmade in small batches. Images are for reference only and slight variations in graphics or finish may occur.
Gate - Controls the background noise and the fuzz activation threshold. At lower settings the sound is rawer and noisier, while at higher settings it becomes tighter, sharper and quieter.
Comp - Adjusts the internal compression and saturation. It can make the sound more open and dynamic, or more compressed and “squashed,” and is also useful for pushing the pedal into self-oscillation territory.
Drive - Controls the main amount of distortion. At lower settings it delivers a dirty, dynamic fuzz, while at maximum it produces a dense, aggressive sound full of harmonics.
Level - Controls the overall output volume, ensuring headroom and presence even with extreme settings.
Stab - One of the pedal’s most distinctive controls: it affects the circuit’s stability. It can make the sound fuller and more consistent, or push it toward instability and creative self-oscillations.
